Maybe it's a sign of Zhaitan's latent influence? Maybe they're just like player-raised undead and don't just 'die' when their master does, but become hostile to everything? I dunno, but there are a few lore excuses that work for me.

Edit: And the devs missed one Mantle banner. The other banners in LA were changed to Krytan royal banners, but the one on the lighthouse is still a Mantle banner.

never thought about that but they may not have gone that far down to hotsprings.. now the tengu by the door there definitely should be bent over
after the battle you talk to one of the guys next to capt greywind (think his name is chester)- he's level one and praises the gods that greywind was there to save them from a mergoyle
think this is probably a precursor to gw2.. were we see a bunch of level 1 guys faceplant outside of town- then a level 2 rolls in and beats them down.. they come out of their induced coma and they gather around and watch him as he advances from mergoyles to frogs
then a griefer runs in with big mobs in tow.. pop goes the weasel

I really liked the ending. They finally made an ending that isnt a runnable boss since Prophecies. Though i wish it was repeatable(a whole nother thread on that somonewhere else) it was actually difficult for PvE normal mode in a, dare i say it, fun way. I also like the new oppressor weapon skins(got the staff! )
Overall Anet made an amazing ending. They made it hard enough to where people actually have to think about what to bring and what skills to have. Though this might cause a lil discrimination towards certain professions im glad this last quest was more than "just grab olias and lets go".

It was easier than I expected, even when I had some trouble due to the Jade Constructs' insane armor.
ANet really needs to do something for elementalists, burning it's not enough to go around huge armor like those when you are the main damage dealer.
But I don't think this is the End. WiK may be over, but there's still plenty of things to do.

If you use an undead slaying mod, you'll see that it works against all undead, regardless if they are ascalonian, orrian, elonian, ancient istani, primigenian or from the far north.
That mods checks for army, not for species, so if a creature it's affected by it, it's part of the undead army. So, they all are part of the same army.
When a thinking leader is not around, like Joko, or the Lich, most undead just keep on mindlessly attacking anything living.
My theory is that all undead that don't keep enough of its former mind (like Joko or the Lich did) go back to be controlled by the Undead Army's default leader: the Undead Dragon. But those that keep some mind can control 'lesser' minded undead.
So, you can take control over a small part of the undead army, but the rest will be under Zhaitan's control.
That means that even before the destroyers, Zhaitan's minions were around killing living things to increase the army. An automated self feeding loop waiting for Zhaitan to take control over the army.

I didn't go directly after BfLA, but I did go by the SB camp, the Kryta explorable areas (coast, seabord and province) and the only difference I saw was the the SB camp was empty, Blimm and Zinn were in their lab but blocked off and Greywind was in his normal spot in Ascalon Settlement. My char said nothing about it???
EDIT
I picked up a bounty to see if that changed anything, and then I got that message from my character saying everyone had been evacuated. But with not bounty, everything is normal.

The banners have changed (except on the lighthouse) whenever you are in WiK content. Enter the keep and look out at the city. Or look around when you're in the BLA and endgame versions of LA. Obviously the banners are not changed in the regular outpost version of LA because that area must accomodate players reaching LA for the first time in the Prophecies storyline.
